Background
Approve a Sole Source exception for the purchase of eighty (80) Taser X26P Model TAS11002, fifty (50) Taser Power Mag Auto Shutdown (APPM) model TAS22011, Fifty (50) Blackhawk Taser Holsters right handed model TAS11501, thirty (30) Blackhawk Taser Holsters left handed model TAS11504, eighty (80) four-year extended warranties for the X26P model TAS11004, two hundred fifty (250) Taser 21’ non-conductive SIM Cartridges for training model TAS44205, and eight hundred (800) 25’ XP Field Cartridges Green door model TAS44203, and thirty (30) APPM battery packs,X26P.
Total cost of the equipment and shipping is $137,341. The funds for this purchase are already included in the FY 2017 Law Enforcement Budget.
