BACKGROUND
Background
NC Department of Public Safety (NCDPS) would like to continue assisting with funding the Youth Focus “HEARTH Transitional Living Program” in Guilford County during FY 2025-26. NCDPS awarded Youth Focus ‘start-up’ funds for the current model during FY22. Guilford County served as a funding facilitator for funds in FY23, FY24, and FY25. The HEARTH program has been serving clients in Guilford County since 2017 and within the current model since November 2022.
