BACKGROUND
background
On an annual basis, Emergency Services includes replacement of durable medical equipment on the capital replacement plan included in the annual budget process. This year the priority is for: Sixteen (16) stair chairs, ten (10) power pro 2 stretchers, thirteen (13) power load stretcher mounts, and accessories, and one (1) powered stair chair for use at special events. Emergency Services has an entire fleet of Stryker stretchers for use on ambulances. Due to the costs of conversion, the department is implementing a multi-year conversion of mounts, with three (3) purchased in FY24 and bringing the county to a total of 16 with this purchase. Also included is the annual purchase of ten (10) PowerPro2 stretchers at a price of $35,433.64 e...
