BACKGROUND

Background

NCDHHS requires local health departments to conduct a Community Health Assessment (CHA) every three to four years and submit a State of the County's Health (SOTCH) report during years between assessments.  The 2024 State of the County’s Health Report for Guilford County highlights progress on priorities identified in the 2023-2024 Guilford County CHA, and features changes in mortality and morbidity and emerging issues.
