BACKGROUND
Background
This agenda item is requesting authorization to amend the contract with Teague Campbell Dennis & Gorham, LLP (“Teague Campbell”), to provide legal services, including Interim County Attorney services, for Guilford County. Teague Campbell served as Interim County Attorney and has provided legal services associated with that role and other vacancies in the County Attorney’s Office. Pursuant to the County’s purchasing authority thresholds and the FY2026 Budget Ordinance, Board of Commissioners approval is required because the contract amount exceeds $200,000. The cost of services under this contract, as amended, is not expected to exceed $240,000.00.
