BACKGROUND
Background
The attached revision to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) funding plan for FY 2024 requires the following change. The change is a line-item adjustment based on late accounting review to align budget for FY24. JCPC funds are not affected, only outside sources.
1. Barium Springs - STOP program (have served 24 of 35 estimated):
a. Decrease in Line #120 (Salary Line) = $-12,000
b. Increase in Line #190 (Professional Services) = $12,000
c. Reasons for decrease: decreased amount of line that was originally budgeted for a salaried position which was vacant, and duties were covered by a contracted person under professional services
d. Reasons for increase: increased amount to cover the duties necessary by contracted person under professional services that was originally budgeted for, but position was vacant
