BACKGROUND

Background

The attached revision to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) funding plan for FY 2025 requires the following changes. All of the changes are line-item adjustments to align budgets for FY25. JCPC funds are not affected, only outside sources. The Board is requested to approve the revised funding plan as requested by the State.

 

1.Youth Focus - Act Together Crisis Care Program (served 75 of 105 estimated)

Increase of +$31,411 (Local Cash)

Increase of +$47,175 (Other)

Total increase = +$78,586

Reasons for increases: Changes to outside Local Cash revenue (Guilford County CBO, DSS Room & Board & City of Greensboro) & outside Other revenue (CACFP, City of Greensboro, & State ESG).

 

2.Alexander Youth Network - Outpatient Counseling (served 34 of 130 estimated)

Increase of +$34,496 (Other)

Total increase = +$34,496

Reasons for increase: Increased outside Other revenue (Medicaid).

 

3. Alexander Youth Network - Psychological Testing (served 38 of 36 estimated)

Increase of +$16,979 (Other)

Total increase = +$16,979

Reasons for increase: Increased outside Other revenue (Medicaid).
