BACKGROUND
Background
Pursuant to Guilford County Ordinance 7.5-27 (a), a countywide, all-hazard, emergency operations plan (EOP) shall be adopted and maintained. The EOP establishes a comprehensive framework of policy and guidance for emergency and disaster response operations. The Emergency Management Division is charged with maintaining the EOP among other plans. Part of that maintenance involves a triennial review through collaboration and input from all stakeholders. This review allows for significant revisions or additions. This review was completed in March 2025. An executive summary of the plan and overview of major changes are available.
