RESOLUTION
Resolution
WHEREAS in accordance with N.C.G.S 135-1, the North Carolina Department of Transportation has committed in excess of $150,000 for the revision of an existing concrete island on Groometown Road, between Interstate 85 and Grandover Parkway; and
WHEREAS this request for revision of the existing concrete island will create a U-turn option in the traffic pattern that provides employees, citizens and visitors substantially improved access to local businesses.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Guilford County Board of Commissioners that it hereby provides its support of this project that will greatly enhance economic development within this area.
