BACKGROUND
Background
As of May 31, 2016, there were 433 children in foster care in Guilford County. Over the past several months, efforts have been initiated to raise awareness and recruit individuals to become foster or adoptive parents who will provide these children with a loving and nurturing home. There is currently a radio ad being broadcasted on the following radio stations:
97.1 (QMG), 93.1 (The Wolf), 98.7 (Simon Says), 102.1 (102 JAMZ)
A similar ad is being played on the following stations:
1510 AM (Big WEAL Gospel), 950 AM (WPE)
In addition, two (2) Adoption/Foster Recruitment fairs are scheduled for the following dates/locations:
July 9, 2016 at New Jerusalem Church, Greensboro, NC from 10:00am - 12:00pm
July 23, 2016 at Carl Chavis Memorial Branch YMCA, High Point, NC from 10:00am - 12:00pm
