BACKGROUND
Background
The Board of Commissioners adopted the FY 2026 budget which included the purchase of medical equipment for EMS. The County will seek financing through a financial institution with a repayment term of 59 months. The maximum principal amount of the Tax-exempt Financings expected for the Project is $2,300,000 plus such additional amounts, as shall be determined to be reasonably necessary for the funding or payment of costs of entering into the Tax-exempt Financings.
The FY26 financing is for the items listed in the quote provided by Stryker:
- Sixty-five (65) Cardiac Monitors
- Sixty-five (65) Lithium-Ion Batteries
- Thirty (30) Battery Charges
- Thirty-two (32) AC Power Cords
- Two (2) AC Power Adapter Kits
- Four (4) 15-Lead Patient Simulators
- Sixty-five (65) Storage Bag Kits
- Sixty-five (65) Cellular Modems and Device Setup
- Less the trade-in credit for old equipment ($382,000)
