BACKGROUND
Background
The North Carolina Department of Transportation, Public Transportation Division, in accordance with federal and state requirements, requires that all transit agencies have a Title VI Plan (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964). The Title VI Plan ensures that no person shall on the ground of race, color, national origin, limited English proficiency, income-level, sex, age, or disability be excluded from participation or denied the benefits of the program. The proposed plan is enclosed and requires the approval and adoption from Guilford County’s Board of County Commissioners.
