BACKGROUND
Background
Due to increased and expected future development in Guilford County, the City of Archdale staff worked with Guilford County staff to develop the attached Interlocal Street Addressing Agreement. The City of Archdale would have the authority to name streets within their city limits and help provide addresses when executing zoning permits, while Guilford County staff would review and enter the information into our E-911 system.

In March 2025, the City of Archdale adopted the attached Archdale Resolution and approved the Interlocal Addressing Agreement.

Staff are requesting authorization, in substantial form, of the attached Guilford County Resolution and the Interlocal Addressing Agreement.
