BACKGROUND
Background
On December 10, 2024, Bid 20249 advertised soliciting an experienced reliable supplier to provide service and postage. Service and postage include printing, inserting, and mailing bills, invoices, listings, notices, forms, statements, letters, brochures, postcards and applications for four County Departments. Bids were received January 16, 2025. After careful evaluation, the County selected South Data due to their cost effectiveness and excellent customer services. The annual contract pricing is broken down by County department below:
Tax: $543,709.00
Board of Elections: $ 27,240.00
Finance: $ 20,715.00
Public Health $ 68,450.00
Law Enforcement $ 9,000.00
Total $669,114.00
The previous contract with South Data for three (3) years was $1,510,497 an increase of $496,845 for the three (3) years, $165,615 annually.
The contract will be for three (3) years beginning March 15, 2025 and ending March 14, 2028 with the option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year renewals. Therefore, the initial three (3) year not to exceed amount is $2,007,342.
