BACKGROUND
background
On September 17, 2015 the Board approved contracts with the vendors listed below for a period of one (1) year, with two (2) one-year renewals options. If approved, the County would execute the last remaining renewal option with the vendors.
The Facilities, Property Management and Parks Department Director engaged Professional Architectural & Engineering Services with unit prices for future projects in Guilford County. Event 473 Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was released and five (5) firms responded. At that time all five (5) firms were awarded contracts for one (1) year with the option for two (2) additional one-year renewal options. Since that time one (1) of the vendors has elected not to renew their contract.
These contracts establish pricing with the respective vendors, and the value of each price only professional services contract shall not exceed $2.5 million dollars. There is no requirement to issue work orders to any of the suppliers; however, any work order with a value greater than $200,000 must be presented to the Board of Commissioners for approval prior to beginning the work. There is no minimum expenditure required for any of the contracts and any expenditures will be commensurate with operating and/or project budgets. The vendors are listed below:

2. ESPA Architects and Planners, 301 East Sycamore Street, Greensboro, NC 27401
3. Moser Mayer Phoenix Associates, PA, 328 East Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27401
4. TFF Architects & Planners, 300 North Greene Street, Greensboro, NC 27401
