BACKGROUND
Background
Through a contract with Guilford County Partnership for Children, Guilford County Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health Division receives Smart Start funding for Child Care Consultation Program which promotes healthy and safe environments for children in child care settings through consultation, training, and technical assistance services. We are requesting to increase the FY 2016-17 budget by $1,680 in order to align the budget with actual funds awarded; the total award amount is $287,896. Funds will be used for salaries for an existing position funded partially through this grant.
