BACKGROUND

Background

In accordance with N.C. General Statute 105-317, the Board of Commissioners is requested to hold a public hearing to receive public comment regarding the 2026 Schedule of Values, Standards and Rules for Guilford County's real property reappraisal for Guilford County's 2026 real property reappraisal. Uniform schedules of values and rules required in appraising real property at its true value and at its present use are prepared to enable those making appraisals to adhere to them in appraising property equitably.  Formal adoption of the Schedules of Values by the Board of Commissioners will be scheduled for October 16, 2025.
