BACKGROUND
Background
Guilford County DHHS - Public Health Division has received an award in the amount of $603,148 from the NC Division of Public Health Administrative, Local and Community Support/Local Technical Assistance and Training Branch. These funds were awarded in accordance with the passing of Session Law 2020-4 (H1043), authorizing the use in a manner that responsibly provides for the public health and economic well-being of NC, through the Coronavirus Relief Fund. The primary purpose of these funds is to provide necessary and appropriate relief and assistance from the effects of COVID-19.
Public Health will utilize these funds to support infection prevention-related activities during the pandemic.
