BACKGROUND
Background
Staff proposes extending by one year our Software as a Service (SaaS) agreement with INFOR (US), LLC for the purpose of maintaining our current INFOR / Lawson system and services. Guilford County uses Infor/Lawson for Human Resources and Payroll processing as well as capital asset tracking and depreciation. Infor/Lawson’s account structure is maintained parallel to Munis, the County's financial ERP, to ensure the necessary accounting entries can be imported into Munis.
This one-year extension would be in the amount of $593,349 and would be effective September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025. This renewal represents a 7% increase over our current agreement $554,532. Our current agreement was approved by the Board on August 17, 2023, with a 6.5% increase over the previous year.
