BACKGROUND
Background
The proposed attached agreements allow for the provision of Animal Shelter and Animal Control services by the County within the town limits of Gibsonville, Greensboro, High Point, Oak Ridge, Pleasant Garden, Sedalia, Stokesdale, Summerfield, and Whitsett. The agreements are effective July 1, 2024 and are subject to final approval and any non-material revisions made by the County Attorney and County Manager. The agreements shall continue for a term of two (2) years with annual review for Greensboro, Oak Ridge, Pleasant Garden, Sedalia, Stokesdale, Summerfield, Whitsett and a term of one (1) year with annual review for Gibsonville & High Point unless terminated pursuant to the terms therein. The County will receive revenues from each of the Cities and Towns totaling $976,303.
The details of the revenue up to an estimated amount are as follows:
Gibsonville: MOU Shelter Services and Dangerous/Vicious/Quarantine
Greensboro: $875,268.00
High Point: MOU Shelter Services and Dangerous/Vicious/Quarantine
Oak Ridge: $25,459.00
Pleasant Garden: $16,088.00
Sedalia: $2,192.00
Stokesdale: $19,808.00
Summerfield: $35,586.00
Whitsett: $1,902.00
These Interlocal Agreements shall continue for two (2) years for seven (7) towns and cities, from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026 & one (1) year for two (2) a Town and City, from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, and are subject to final approval and any non-material revisions made by the County Attorney and the County Manager.
