BACKGROUND
background
Guilford County uses Voice Over IP (VoIP) for our current phone system. However, with the current implementation, we have a mixed environment where we need to pay for some hardware and software license costs. The attached proposal and agreement from NWN Corporation provides for a complete hosted solution, which in turn, will provide the following benefits:
- 24/7/365 monitoring and troubleshooting
- Enhanced reporting
- Overall cost savings with fixed monthly pricing inclusive of all taxes
- Enhanced support
- Eliminate capital expenditure for any hardware/software
This is a five (5) year agreement based on City of Jacksonville/NCLGISA state contract.

Monthly cost of $43,949.75 inclusive of all taxes and surcharges for a total cost not to exceed $2,636,985 over a five (5) year term.
