BACKGROUND

Background

The National Association of Counties (NACo) requires the Board of Commissioners to designate a voting delegate for its 2026 Annual Conference, which will be held July 17-20, 2026.  The voting delegate will represent Guilford County and participate in all business, motions and the election of offices during the annual business meeting on July 20, 2026.

Requested Action

Appoint Vice Chair J. Carlvena Foster as voting delegate to represent Guilford County during the 2026 NACo Annual Conference.
