BACKGROUND
Background
Since 2018, Rubrik has served as a core platform for the County’s backup, recovery, and data-protection operations for servers, and critical applications including GIS, Register of Deeds BIS, Law Enforcement systems, RMS/JMS, etc. Staff requests approval to execute a maintenance renewal for Rubrik hardware and software from eGroup Enabling Technologies, in the amount of $248,856.67 based on Federal General Services Administration (GSA) contract GS-35F-303DA.
This is an increase from $203,039.39 in the prior year, associated with moving the contract to help align contract end dates and additional increases associated with adding backup capabilities added as part of the County's disaster recovery planning.
