BACKGROUND

Background

At the July 21, 2021 Board of Commissioners meeting, the Board approved interlocal agreements between Guilford County and the following Cities and Towns: Gibsonville, High Point, Jamestown, Oak Ridge, Pleasant Garden, Sedalia, Stokesdale, Summerfield and Whitsett for three (3) year terms.  The Board approved an agreement with the City of Greensboro for one (1) year to allow staff time to analyze the per capita relationship for the service fees and call volume for City of Greensboro residents. Staff will provide a short presentation.

Approve the execution of the Animal Shelter and Animal Control services agreement with the City of Greensboro, in substantial form, for two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024.
