BACKGROUND

background

REDWOLF Development Co., LLC is developing property located at Chariot Drive, which is within the city limits of Greensboro.  The County has an ownership dedicated by plat in the right-of-way adjacent to the development.  The developer seeks to annex 0.392+/- acres of the right-of-way into the city and requests Guilford County convey such interest to the City of Greensboro to complete this project.

Approve non-warranty deed, in substantial form, and conveyance of 0.392+/- acres located along the Chariot Drive right-of-way from Guilford County to the City of Greensboro, for the purpose of annexation.  Authorize staff to take all reasonable steps to accomplish the transfer of any ownership of Guilford County to the City of Greensboro.
