BACKGROUND
Background
The proposed attached agreements allows for the provision of Animal Shelter and Animal Control services by the County within the town limits of Gibsonville, Greensboro, High Point, Jamestown, Oak Ridge, Pleasant Garden, Sedalia, Stokesdale, Summerfield, and Whitsett. The agreements are effective July 1, 2021 and are subject to final approval and any non-material revisions made by the County Attorney and County Manager. The agreements shall continue for a term of three (3) years with annual review, unless terminated pursuant to the terms therein.
The County will receive revenues from each of the Cities and Towns totaling $850,416. The details of the revenue are as follows:
Gibsonville: MOU Shelter Services and Dangerous/Vicious/Quaranteen
Greensboro: $753,687.00
High Point: MOU Shelter Services and Dangerous/Vicious/Quaranteen
Jamestown: $8,237.00
Oak Ridge: $21,513.00
Pleasant Garden: $13,097.00
Sedalia: $1,811.00
Stokesdale: $16,772.00
Summerfield: $33,598.00
Whitsett: $1,701.00
These Interlocal Agreements shall continue for three (3) years, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024, and are subject to final approval and any non-material revisions made by the County Attorney and the County Manager.
