BACKGROUND
Background
Last year, the Board of Commissioners provided $1,027,451 from the ARPA-enabled allocation for the Homelessness Task Force to help support various CoC agencies. The contracted service period expired on June 30, 2024. Five (5) agencies that underspent their allocations by approximately $354,000 in total have requested that the County extend their funding periods through October 31, 2024. The CoC's request and a table of agencies and their remaining balances are attached.
