BACKGROUND
Background
Per the Guilford County Budget Ordinance, the Board of County Commissioners is required to approve both contract amounts above $200,000, as well contracts requiring amendments over the course of the fiscal year that cumulatively surpass $200,000. Due to recent influxes in foster care children served (39 children added into care for month of May 2024 alone), HHS-DSS staff have determined one (1) contract noted below that needs BOCC approval. Sufficient funding exists within the FY24 budget to complete the needed amendment.
Florence Crittenton Services - Total contract with necessary addendum $212,820
-Original Amount = $10,000
-Amendment 1 = $130,000; for total contract amount of $140,000
-Amendment 2 = $72,820; for total contract amount of $212,820
