The Board of Commissioners appoints nine (9) members, one (1) member from each county district and one (1) County at-large member; to prepare, implement, and make recommendations to the Board on the County Comprehensive Plan and to make such other studies and plans and review such other related matters as directed by the Board of Commissioners. In addition, Planning Board members hear and decided matters on appeal from the County Technical Review Committee (TRC) and Enforcement Officers concerning subdivisions, site plans and soil erosion plans.
