Members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners to authorize the sale and issuance of industrial revenue bonds in accordance with procedures outlined in the NC General Statutes. The Authority receives proposals for projects, and, if the project is approved; authorizes, processes and submits to the Commissioners and appropriate state agencies the documents required for implementation of procedures to sell and issue bonds.
